Twice Bright Lighting offers the lowest profile, MR16 lamped, recessed lighting available. Our fixtures are ideal for applications such as drop ceilings, shallow interior or exterior soffits, built-in millwork and cabinetry. Our fixtures range from 2 ½” to 4 ½” in height. Depending on how much space you have you can use either our line voltage or low voltage fixtures (all of our fixtures use a 120V input). Our low voltage fixtures are our shallowest at 2 ½”. Our line voltage fixtures range from 3 ½” to 4 ½”. We also have integral LED fixtures at 3 ½”. Please see more information below.

Low Voltage Shallow Recessed Lighting – 2 ½” Height

 

  • Shallowest recessed lighting in the marketplace. Fixtures are 2 ½”.
  • Maximum 20W IR (35W light output) GU5.3 based aluminum reflector halogen lamp.
  • Recommended LED – Soraa Vivid or Brilliant MR16 LED lamps.
  • Can be used as primary lighting.
  • Has 35° tilt on tilting models for cathedral and sloped ceilings.
  • Has an integral electronic transformer. You run 120V right to the fixtures.
  • Use a dimmer designed for use with an electronic transformer.
  • You may use halogen or LED bulbs. We offer a complete range of recommended lamps.

Line Voltage 120V Recessed Lighting – 3 ½” – 4 ½” Height

 

  • Shallowest recessed lighting in the market place. Fixtures range from 3 ½” – 4 ½”.
  • Maximum 10W GU10 based LED or 25W aluminum reflector halogen lamp.
  • Recommended LED – TCP Elite Series GU10 7W LED lamps.
  • Has 20° tilt on tilting models for cathedral and sloped ceilings.
  • Our SL12025TL/F fixtures can be used when 2×4 joists have been used.
  • Can be used with all regular line voltage dimmers.
  • We offer a complete range of recommended LEDs.

Integral LED Recessed Lighting – 3 ½” Height

 

  • Shallowest recessed lighting in the marketplace. Fixtures are 3 ½”.
  • High lumen package at 865 delivered lumens. Our LED module produces more light than 50W MR16 Halogen.
  • Can be used as primary lighting in all downlight applications, even high ceiling applications.
  • Has an integral LED driver. You run 120V right to the fixtures.
